An 8-year-old boy is being treated at the hospital after he was bitten by a dog Wednesday morning.
Officials said the boy was bitten by a family dog in the 900 block of Hamilton.
There were injuries to the boy's leg that required medical treatment.
The dog was impounded by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
