BRAZOS COUNTY, TX — The Brazos County Sheriff's Office says a suspect has been apprehended after fleeing from officers during a traffic stop and then crashing into a utility pole.
The deputy was making the traffic stop on Rock Prairie Road when the vehicle fled and collided with a utility pole on Towers Parkway in the Barracks Townhome.
The suspect then fled again on foot, but was apprehended with help from the College Station Police Department and its K-9 unit, and the Brazos County Constables Office Precinct 1 and 3, said a BCSO spokesperson.
