LORENA, TX — Several units are responding to a structure fire out of Lorena.
According to Lorena police, the area around Country Springs and Wolf Creek is shut down due to the fire.
Officials said the cause of the fire is thought to be the wind hitting a power line that hit a tree.
One woman was home at the time and got out safely. The home is a total loss.
Lorena fire, Bruceville-Eddy fire, AMR, Hewitt fire, Hewitt police and the McLennan County Sheriff's Office is working the scene.
Police said to avoid the area until further notice.
