Arrests made in 10-month Mills County drug investigation

MILLS COUNTY, TX — The Mills County Sheriff's office announced the names of several men and women who were arrested between December and June in connection with a long-term drug investigation.

Sheriff Clint Hammonds said that there were six Goldthwaite residents arrested during multiple drug busts in the area, and one from Mullin. The major undercover operation spanned from June 2018 to June 2019. The sheriff's office worked with the Arizona Attorney General's office during some of the investigation.

The Sheriff's department is asking for the public's help in finding two additional suspects.

Amber Scheree Sims, 32, of Mullin, is wanted on a first degree felony charge of delivery of methamphetamine and tampering with evidence.

Former Priddy resident, 32-year-old Ashton Alaine Sinast is also wanted for a first degree felony charge of delivery of methamphetamine and tampering with evidence.
