The Advent Health Central Texas Foundation is the latest recipient of a Scripps Howard Foundation grant.
The foundation works to raise funds for multiple healthcare programs in the Central Texas area including Mother’s Touch, Rollins Brook Community Hospital, and a future Wellness Center.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the foundation has been unable to host several events that normally help raise funds.
The biggest one of these is the annual AdventHealth Central Texas Foundation Gala, which is held in November.
This Gala raises tremendous amounts of funds each year and without it, the foundation took a hit in our goal of raising funds for the programs listed above.

This is the second year in a row that the Scripps Howard Foundation has approved a grant for the AdventHealth Central Texas Foundation.
