FROST, TX — The Navarro County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help locating a suspect and vehicle involved in a hit-and-run.

The sheriff's office said on Monday at 8:28 p.m., DPS troopers were called to NW CR 4160 to a crash involving a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle.

The preliminary investigation shows that a white older model SUV struck a 7-year-old girl.

The girl was transported by a private vehicle to Baylor Scott and White with serious injuries.

The vehicle was described as being similar to a older model Chevy Trail Blazer and will have front right side damage.

If the vehicle is spotted, you are asked to contact the sheriff's office with the current location of the vehicle and the license plate number.

This investigation is still ongoing.
