A Whitney man died in a wreck south of Grandview on Monday afternoon.
A Toyota Corolla traveling southbound tried to swerve around an animal. The vehicle left the roadway and overturned.
The driver was transported to the hospital to be treated for a possible injury. The passenger, 22-year-old Bryant Wilson, died at the scene.
The accident happened on State Highway 81 near FM 67.
The investigation is still ongoing.
