FALLS COUNTY, TX — The driver of an 18-wheeler is in stable condition after a crash on Tuesday.
The Falls County Sheriff's Office said it happened on CR 249 and FM 1771 west of Kosse.
DPS said the driver's injuries are not life-threatening. DPS said the driver was traveling at an unsafe speed and failed to properly negotiate a curve. The trailer overturned and the driver had not been secured by a seat belt.
A helicopter airlifted the driver, but he is in stable condition at an area hospital.
