AQUILLA, TX — An 11-year-old girl was hit by a Jeep while crossing the road on Monday morning.
She was taken Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth in critical condition.
Sgt. Ryan Howard with the Texas Department of Public Safety said the accident happened on FM 933 near FM 2114 south of Aquilla.
The girl was crossing the street when a Jeep SUV traveling northbound hit her.
The driver of the Jeep was taken to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Howard said no charges have been filed.
