The Animal Birth Control Clinic of Waco said that the state has eased pet medication purchase requirements.

They explained that this means it is a little easier for you to get your pet's medication.

Normally, for medications, an annual heartworm test (dogs) and an annual visit (cats & dogs) is required for prescriptions and refills.

These requirements are delayed during the length of the shelter in place declaration. Cat and dog patients may buy up to 6 months of flea/tick/heartworm product to limit exposure for refills.
