One pup in Monmouth County in New Jersey is now up for adoption after both of her owners passed away due to COVID-19 complications.

The Monmouth County SPCA posted on Facebook looking for a loving new family for Che-Che in the Monmouth County area.

"Che-Che was scared and shaking when she arrived - we can't imagine what it's like for a dog like her to suddenly lose everything she's ever known and then end up in an unfamiliar place." said the Monmouth County SPCA in their Facebook post.

The staff wore appropriate personal protection equipment to comfort the pup before Che-Che receives the proper veterinary care which includes a dental check, being spayed, vaccines, and a warm bath so they can care for Che-Che without their personal protective equipment.

The Monmouth Count SPCA says calls are already pouring in for potential new homes for little Che-Che.
