The New Black Collective providing coats for kids in CTX

WACO, TX — For the November 18 edition of Central Texas Living Ann Harder spoke with Ebony Joiner and Jasmine Bledsoe, co-founders of The New Collective.

The New Black Collective is a Waco-based nonprofit focusing on amplifying the quality of life within the urban community, by promoting education and culture through collaborative partnerships and community initiatives. The organization will be hosting a free event called Coats N' Cocoa on Saturday, November 30, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Indian Spring Middle School. At the event, coats, hats, gloves and hot cocoa will be provided for children. There will be vendors present as well, and the event is first-come-first-serve.
