CENTRAL TEXAS — For the Feb. 28 edition of Central Texas Living Ann Harder spoke with Denise Mahlke, an artist nationally know for her pastel paintings.
During the interview, Mahlke explained the use of pastel, how it works and when she began practicing this type of art. Her many awards include the gold medal for works on paper and best of show at the Phoenix Art Museum's West select show.
