WACO, TX — For the September 17 edition of Central Texas Living Ann Harder spoke with Pike Anderson with the McLennan County Veterans Association.
Coming up on Wednesday, October 16 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. is the 2019 Vets Fest hosted by the McLennan County Veterans Association, or MCVA. The event is happening at Outback Steak House located at New Road and Franklin Avenue. For a $10 donation, you get an 8oz chicken breast, mashed potatoes, salad, drink and cookie. All of the money raised goes towards paying for the annual Memorial Day Ceremony, annual Veterans Day Parade and annual Flag Retirement Ceremony.
