WACO, TX — For the Septeber 26 edition of Central Texas Living Ann Harder spoke with Rebecca Nall, assistant director of exhibits, communication and visitor services and Emily Clark, museum engagement manager with the Mayborn Museum Complex.

The grand opening of the Mayborn Museum's new Backyard Ecology Hall is happening Saturday, October 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The hall is inspired by Central Texas stories, Baylor research, and natural phenomena. This is an exciting collection of hands-on experiences, and will encourage individual discovery and an appreciation for the natural world. The new gallery includes live animals that tell a story about local ecology and traditional museum collection objects, while also providing creative play experiences for children and families.
