CTX kids host dog wash fundraiser benefitting the Alzheimer's Association

WACO, TX — For the July 22 edition of Central Texas Living Ann Harder spoke with Christine Schroeder Morren, education and family care specialist with Alzheimer’s Association of Waco, and her three grandaughters Stevie Schroeder (10), Kaylie Schroeder (11) and Emeri Clark (12).

The third annual "Bubbles & Bandanas" dog wash event is happening Saturday, July 27 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The event will take place at the Community Fellowship Church of Nazarene. Everyone is invited to bring their dogs out to be washed. The event is free, with suggested donations of $5 for small dogs and $10 for large dogs. All proceeds go to help end Alzheimer's.

"Bark to End Alzheimer's" bandanas will be available for a donation of $5.

Some animals from the Humane Society of Central Texas will also be at the event, looking for their forever homes.
