CTX author telling 'The Christmas Story' in a way kids won't forget

WACO, TX — For the November 28 edition of Central Texas Living Ann Harder spoke with Jim Stafford, author of "The Birth of Jesus Christ Through the Eyes and Ears of my Great Uncle Sylvester the Mouse."

Jim Stafford wrote the book "The Birth of Jesus Christ Through the Eyes and Ears of my Great Uncle Sylvester the Mouse" in an effort to share "The Christmas Story" in a way children could understand and remember. Stafford says that when writing a story for a child, you have to give them something they can relate to . He says, thanks to Uncle Sylvester, this was made possible in his book.

Stafford will host a book signing open to the public on Sunday, December 8 at 4 p.m. at Stilwell Retirement Residence at 5400 Laurel Lake Dr. in Waco.
