Chisholm Trail Christmas Ball raising money for youth scholarships in Bell County

BELL COUNTY, TX — For the November 28 edition of Central Texas Living Ann Harder spoke with Lindsey Strait, chair for the Bell County Youth Fair Scholarship Program.

Coming up on Saturday, December 14 at 6 p.m. at the Bell County Expo Center is the 11th Annual Chisholm Trail Christmas Ball fundraiser. This annual Ball raises money for the Bell County Youth Fair Scholarship Program.

This program provides scholarships to youth in Bell County involved in 4-H, FFA and FCCLA at the Bell County Youth Fair. Through this program, $500,500 in scholarships have been awarded in the last 12 years to students in Bell County. The program targets students who may not be able to attend college without financial assistance. 12 students were awarded scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $10,000 in May 2019.

To make a table reservation, call 254-933-5309 between 8 a.m and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Table sales will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, December 6.
