ROSEBUD, TX — For the December 2 edition of Central Texas Living Ann Harder spoke with Betty Thrasher, author of "Rosebud Roses."

Thrasher grew up in the small town of Rosebud, Texas, in her parent's small-town department store. Growing up, she was taught a lot about style and presentation. As an adult, Thrasher opened her first boutique "The RoseBud" in Gatesville, TX. She named the boutique after her hometown, and used the store to care to professionals, politicians and the medical community of Baylor Scott and White. After selling her business, Thrasher focused on charity work, staging a number of fashion shows. Now, Thrasher has published a book, "Rosebud Roses," combining her knowledge of fashion and her memories of growing up in the small town of Rosebud.
