WACO, TX — For the October 23 edition of Central Texas Living Andrea Morgan spoke with Jose Palacios, manager of business and industry initiatives for Workforce Solutions for the Heart of Texas.
The 8th Annual Red, White & Your Statewide Hiring Fair is set for Thursday, November 7. This is a statewide job fair that will be held at different locations across the lone star state. The Central Texas Location for the fair is at the Baylor Club. This job fair focuses on connecting Texas Veterans and their spouses with area employers, and more than 40 businesses looking to hire are expected to be on hand. It is a partnership between Texas Workforce Solutions, Texas Workforce Commission, Texas Medical Center, Texas Veterans Commission and Workforce Solutions for the Heart of Texas.
