5th annual Greg May Caritas Golf Classic benefiting people in need in CTX

WACO, TX — For the October 8 edition of Central Texas Living Ann Harder spoke with Alicia Jallah, assistant executive director at Caritas of Waco.

The 5th annual "Greg May Caritas Golf Classic" is set for Friday, October 18 at Cottonwood Creek Golf Course in Waco. This tournament will be a 4-player per team, Florida Scramble, with a shotgun start at 1 p.m0. Lunch and registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. The entry fee to play in the tournament is $100 per player or $400 per team. This includes the green fee, cart, range balls, a BBQ lunch, 3 adult beverage tickets, soft drinks, water and an Adidas cap.

Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 9th, and 15th place, closest to the pin on all par 3's and longest drive. There will also be a "Hole In One" contest on hole number 17.

All proceeds from the "Greg May Caritas Golf Classic" will help Caritas provide emergency assistance such as food, clothing, household items and prescription medications to people in need in Central Texas.
