The man who stopped the shooting at West Freeway Church of Christ in White Settlement will receive the Medal of Courage from Gov. Greg Abbott.
Abbott tweeted that he would give Jack Wilson the medal on Monday Jan. 13.

The gunman killed two people before he was taken down.
