COPPERAS COVE, TX — A group of young volunteers are helping a Copperas Cove animal shelter that was severely damaged in an EF-2 tornado.
The ink Warrior Angels Youth Council is collecting donations to help the shelter recover. They were accepting donations outside of the Pet Supply Plus in Copperas Cove. Toys, supplies, and food are all in need. They are also collecting money to purchase a kennel.
The group will be out again at the Dollar Tree in Copperas Cove on Friday from 10 a.m to 2 p.m.
