Williamson County correctional officer arrested, charged with bringing tobacco products into jail

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — A correctional officer in Williamson County was arrested for bringing tobacco products into the jail.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office said that Jonathan Flournoy was accused of bringing contraband into the Williamson County Jail.

On March 26, the sheriff's office received information that Flournoy was bringing in tobacco products into the jail and exchanging the products for cash with several inmates.

After an investigation, Flournoy was arrested and charged with prohibited substance in a correctional facility. He is being held on a $10,000 bond.
