CENTRAL TEXAS — Thousands are without power in the Central Texas area after powerful storms tore through the area.
Entergy Texas has brought in 300 employees and contractors to service the area, which was affected after severe weather and a EF-3 tornado Saturday.
According to the company, 3,000 customers in Bremond, Kosse and Calvert are waiting on transmission line repairs. It will be most likely overnight Sunday into Monday when power will be restored.
In Franklin, 600 customers are without power, but are expected to have it restored overnight Sunday in Monday.
Entergy says 90 percent of customers in Trinity and Madisonville will have their power back by 3 p.m. Monday.
