GEORGETOWN, TX — Georgetown police report that two officers were shot Tuesday night, according to KXAN.
Police said one of the officers was able to shoot and kill the gunman.
The incident happened during a call about a break in. The break in was reported at a home on Garden Meadow Dr.
KXAN reports that the officers were shot in the high thigh area. Police said both officers are stable.
Georgetown Police are investigating the shooting along with the Williamson County District Attorney’s Office, the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, and the Texas Department of Public Safety Rangers Division.
