Texas tulip farm now open for the pickin' season

WAXAHACHIE, TX — The tulip farm in Waxahachie is now open, and they are offering a early bloom special. Each stem is $1.

Poston Gardens has over 1 million blooming tulips on the 60-acre site. The tulip farmers are originally from Holland.

They also serve beer and wine on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. You can also jump on a Kawasaki Mule and tour the field for $10 per person.

The fields also have live music every weekend, and on March 21, you can do yoga in the fields.

Also on March 21, they will have a spring market.

It is located at 900 Cantrell St., right off I-35.

Information and Pricing

The tulip farm is open for about 6 weeks, and they are open from 10 am. 6 p.m. every day.

Admissions:

Weekday tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for seniors. Kids get in for $5.

Weekend tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for seniors. Kids get in for $5.

If you pay for parking online, it is $5 and you get 5 tulips.
