Texas Top 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender captured in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX — A Texas Top 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender was captured in San Antonio after being wanted since January.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, 45-year-old Mark Anthony Ozuna, a high-risk sex offender, was wanted for failure to register as a sex offender.

Ozuna was arrested at an apartment complex in northwest San Antonio on July 25 without incident.

DPS says Ozuna had been wanted since January 22 after he fled from his last known address in San Antonio.

In December 2000, DPS says Ozuna was convicted in Bexar County for burglary of a habitation with intent to commit a sex offense. He was sentenced to 9 years in a Texas Department of Criminal Justice prison.

In June 2013, DPS says Ozuna was convicted in Bexar County of assault causing bodily injury- family violence (enhanced) and indecency with a child by exposure. He subsequently received 3-year sentences in a Texas Department of Criminal Justice prison for each conviction.
