According to a new study by GetCenturyLink, Texans aren't big fans of the Christmas spirit.
Texas ranked #8 for "grinchiest" states in America.
The top five Christmas-hating states are Nevada, Hawaii, California, Florida and Arizona.
So which state loves Christmas the most? According to GetCenturyLink, the answer is Tennessee.
The other four Christmas-loving states are North Carolina, Utah, Ohio and Alabama.
The GetCenturyLink team compiled the list based on online activity and area culture.
Criteria for online activity include Google searches for Christmas movies and gingerbread houses, Google shopping trends for wrapping paper, Christmas cards, Christmas ornaments and "elf on a shelf," number of Christmas songs streamed and number of tweets related to Christmas.
Criteria for area culture includes number of Christmas tree farms per capita and amount of charitable donations.
