PHARR, TX — Customs and Border Patrol agents in Texas seized more than $6 million worth of methamphetamine that was hidden in a trailer full of honeydew melons.
Agents inspected the shipment on April 12 at the Pharr International Bridge cargo facility. Officers found 304 pounds of what they believe was methamphetamine concealed within the trailer.
Border Patrol agents said the drugs are worth $6,085,000.
