Texarkana fugitive added to Texas 10 Most Wanted List

TEXARKANA, TX — A fugitive out of Texarkana has been added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive List.

The Texas Department of Public Safety says 20-year-old Marques Jujuan Thompson is wanted for murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm, batter, stalking/intimidation and a probation violation.

Thompson has been wanted since August 2020 for violating his probation and absconding from his last known address in Texarkana, Texas. Since then, authorities say Thompson is suspected of being involved in multiple shootings, including a deadly one that occured on January 12 in Texarkana.

DPS says Thompson has ties to the Dallas Metroplex area.

He is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and roughly 150 pounds. Authorities say Thompson is considered armed and dangerous.

A cash reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to Thompson's arrest. All tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.
