HIDALGO COUNTY, TX — The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a 1-year-old child was ran over by accident by her father.
The sheriff's office said that on Christmas day, they received, a call about injury to a child in Edinburg, according to ValleyCentral.
They said they found the child behind the tire of her father's truck. The father told police he was backing up out of his driveway when he heard a noise.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing. An autopsy has been ordered.
