AUSTIN, TX — One person is dead and another is in critical condition after a small plane crash in the Lakeway area in Austin, according to the Austin Fire Department.
The plane went down at 115 Flying Scot, according to officials.
Lake Travis firefighters tweeted one of the patients was in cardiac arrest with CPR in progress after the crash.
Officials said that they were transported by STAR Flight. Both men are believed to be in their 30s.
Crews from both Lake Travis Fire and Austin Fire Department are on the scene.
Austin Fire units will be assisting Lake Travis Fire/Rescue with a small plane crash in the Lakeway area. Contact Lake Travis Fire for further information.

A small private aircraft has crashed near the of the runaway on Lakeway Blvd. Lakeway Blvd at The Hills will be shut down. Please avoid the area. There are no details at this time concerning injuries.
