SAN MARCOS, TX — According to KXAN, multiple workers at an Amazon warehouse located in San Marcos have tested positive for COVID-19.
An Amazon spokesperson was not able to verify how many employees had tested positive for COVID-19.
Amazon also confirmed a positive COVID-19 case at the Amazon Delivery Station in Austin on May 1.
If a worker tests positive for COVID-19, Amazon tells the worker to stay home in quarantine and will continue to pay their employee and will investigate where employees didn’t follow social distancing guidelines.
