WACO, TX — Joanna Gaines made it in the Hollywood Reporter's 2019 Women in Entertainment Power 100 list.
Joanna Gaines was named to the list’s “A-List” sub-category alongside Jennifer Aniston, Ellen DeGeneres, Tiffany Haddish, Scarlett Johansson, Mindy Kaling, Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman, among other notable figures.
"A year and a half after airing the last episode of HGTV breakout Fixer Upper, Gaines (and her husband, Chip) take their formidable Magnolia lifestyles brand to the next level in 2020 — lending its name to a new Discovery-owned network. "Jo," as her nearly 12 million Instagram followers know her, is staying put in Waco despite Hollywood ambitions," the Hollywood Reporter said.
The Gaines' Network is set to launch in 2020. Joanna Gaines said that she thought she would be a broadcast journalist when she was 18.
