H-E-B has placed a limit on hand sanitizers, wipes, and similar items amid coronavirus fears.
The top banner of the H-E-B website reads "to be fair to all customers, we are placing a limit of 4 on many hand sanitizers, wipes and similar items."
On Saturday, U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams warned people that masks are not effective in preventing the general public from catching the coronavirus after people began mass-buying the product.
“Seriously people- STOP BUYING MASKS!” Adams tweeted. “They are NOT effective in preventing general public from catching #Coronavirus, but if healthcare providers can’t get them to care for sick patients, it puts them and our communities at risk!”
