H-E-B CEO Charles Butt ranked second in nation’s top CEO’s

One of the worlds largest job recruiting sites has ranked the H-E-B CEO second in the nation among major corporations.

Glassdoor released the results of its annual Employee’s Choice Awards. The results are based on the cites CEO approval rating system that allows employees who have provided feedback on the companies they work for. Companies and CEO are ranked on things like leadership skills, job insight, and work environment.

Charles Butt, the CEO of H-E-B, has a 99% approval rating on the site, taking second place to VMware’s Pat Gelsinger, who was also in the 99 percentile of approval.

Here are the top ten CEO in the US according to Glassdoor.

  3. In-N-Out Burger’s Lynsi Snyder (99 percent approval)
  4. T-Mobile’s John Legere (99 percent approval)
  5. Adobe’s Shantanu Narayen (98 percent approval)
  6. Microsoft’s Satya Nadella (98 percent approval)
  7. McKinsey & Company’s Kevin Sneader (98 percent approval)
  8. LinkedIn’s Jeff Weiner (97 percent approval)
  9. Intuitive Surgical’s Gary S. Guthart (97 percent approval)
  10. Best Buy’s Hubert Joly (97 percent approval)

Butt has done a great deal for the company in his time as CEO.

According to a press release from H-E-B, “In 1971, Charles succeeded his father as company president when the company had 6,000 Partners (employees), roughly 120 stores and $221 million in annual sales. Since he took the helm, the company has grown to operate more than 400 stores in Texas and Mexico, employ more than 116,000 Partners and post annual sales over $26 billion.”
