A freeze warning has been issued for several Central Texas counties starting Monday night at 10 PM until Tuesday at 9 AM.

Navarro, Freestone, Bell, McLennan, Brazos, Falls, Limestone, Leon, Milam and Robertson counties are currently under a freeze warning.

Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 27 degrees are expected as frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

All residents are advised to protect tender vegetation. Automatic sprinkler systems should also be turned off to avoid creating ice patches on nearby roads, driveways, and sidewalks.
