Fiver people were shot, one of which is in critical condition, after a shooting at a San Antonio flear market, according to San Antonio Police Chief William McManus.

The shooting happened around 11 a.m. Sunday at the Mission Open Air Market.

A dispute led up to the shooting where multiple shooters were involved, including a security guard who returned fire at the shooter, McManus told KSAT on Sunday.

Five people were injured, including one of the suspects, McManus said. The alleged suspect is in critical condition.

“We don’t believe, at this point, that any of the people who were shot were innocent bystanders,” McManus told KSAT.

The area has been deemed safe by police.

The information so far is preliminary, as the investigation is still in its early stages, and is subject to change.
