BEAUMONT, TX — One Texas DPS Trooper is being recognized for going above the call of duty.

John Kennedy Vaughan captured a photo of Trooper Camarillo in Beaumont rocking a child after a car accident.

Vaughan said in the caption Trooper Camarillo rocked and comforted the baby after he was pulled from a wrecked car.

Vaughan posted the photo to Instagram, and it was later shared by DPS.
