CAMERON COUNTY, TX — Officials are reporting that a child was hit by a stray bullet on New Year's Day in Cameron County, according to KRGV.
The Brownsville Fire Department said that the incident happened due to celebratory gunfire.
The condition of the child is unknown at this time.
