SAN ANTONIO, TX — Bravo will soon premiere a new reality series based in Texas.

“Texicanas” follows six San Antonio women as they navigate love, family and drama while maintaining their connection to Mexican culture and traditions.

The show promises to bring margaritas, mariachis and larger-than-life Texas glamour with a twist on the women’s Mexican roots.

Texicanas is told through the eyes of Penny Ayarzagoitia, a successful real estate agent as she recounts the events that lead to relationships unraveling and friends becoming enemies.

Bravo says it’s not all drama for the six women as they hold a true sisterhood and lean on one another through the tough times.

Ayarzagotita’s sisterhood includes Maya Farret, Lorena Martinez, Anayancy Nolasco, Karla Ramiez and Luz Ortiz. Most of the group of San Antonio sophisticates were raised in Mexico before making Texas their home.

Texicanas will air Tuesday nights starting May 7 at 9 p.m. CST.
