PATTISON, TX — Authorities are searching for two late model SUVs after a road rage shooting left several people injured.
The Waller County Sheriff's Office says the incident happened between two vehicles traveling on FM 359 at FM 1458 in Pattison, Texas, around 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
One victim was transported by Lifeflight to Houston Memorial Hospital after suffering a gunshot injury to the face. She is in stable condition.
Police say weapons were found inside of her vehicle, and the identity of the other involved party is one focus of the investigation.
During the shooting, several vehicles were struck by projectiles and at least one vehicle crash occurred.
Multiple 911 calls were made during the incident. Police say at one point, the suspect vehicle is believed to have followed and shot at responding deputies.
At this time, deputies are searching for two late-model SUV's that may have damage related to the gunshots. One SUV is maroon in color and was driven by a man. The vehicle is a tan or beige smaller SUV driven by an unknown driver.
