3 men charged with aggravated robbery in Whitney

WHITNEY, TX — The Hill County Sheriff's Office arrested three men for aggravated robbery in Whitney on Dec. 31.

Police responded to a call of an aggravated robbery at an address off of FM 2604.

According to the victim, he and his roommate were taken to the ATM by the suspects, Gabriel Corona, Emmanuel Perez, and Jasper Anderson, in order to get money for their rent.

The victim said once they were back at his residence, one of the suspects pulled out a pistol and demanded the cash, as well as the victim's bank cards.

The suspects took the money and the cards and let the victims leave.

Whitney police located the suspect vehicle near Hill St. and saw two of the suspects leaving on foot.

Police said the two suspects were found to be in possession of the pistol that was used, one of the victim's bank cards and cash.

They were arrested and brought to the Hill County Jail.

Police said this is an active investigation and anyone with information can contact Sgt. Nevil with the Hill County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Divisions.
