3.0 magnitude earthquake rattles West Texas

ODESSA, TX — USGS has confirmed reports of an earthquake that rattled West Texas.

Residents near Odessa and Midland said that late Sunday night they felt the ground shake.

The earthquake happened at 11:58 p.m. northeast of Odessa and measured a 3.0 on the Richter magnitude scale.

No damage has been reported as of Monday morning.
