UPDATE
WACO, Texas — A man is dead after a single-vehicle crash occurred on the northbound bridge of the Twin Bridges on Highway 6 Saturday afternoon.
Officers with the Waco Police Department responded to the crash around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Police said a Chevy Silverado struck a curb, causing the vehcile to overcorrect and strike both sides of the bridge.
The resulting crash overturned the truck and ejected the single male occupant.
Police said the victim was pronounced deceased on the scene.
47-year-old Jeremie Simonsen has been identified by the authorities as the victim of the fatal crash. Next of kin has been notified.

WACO, Texas — A serious wreck has caused a complete lane shutdown at Highway 6 from Waco towards the twin bridges.
The Waco Police Department said drivers need to use alternative routes as they work at the site of the wreck.
