FORT HOOD, TX — Fort Hood welcomes the first baby of 2020!
The first military baby of 2020 was born at 1:12 a.m. Baby Layla was 6 pounds and 15 ounces.
Her mom, Nataly Rivera, is the first new mom on base for the year.
Two other babies were born before 5 p.m. on New Year's Day.
