HILLSBORO, TX — Around 5:50 am on January 21, 2021, a crash occurred on I-35 near FM 934 just outside of Hillsboro.
Texas DPS Troopers responded to the crash. A Freightliner truck tractor semi-trailer crashed into a crash cushion and overturned.
The driver was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. Investigators believe fatigued driving is the factor in this crash.
Traffic is currently being diverted at FM 2959 to US 77 and delays are expected to last up to five hours on the northbound side.
The investigation is still ongoing and no other information was made available.
