COPPERAS COVE, TX — An elementary school student in Copperas Cove is helping to provide free books to his fellow readers.
At least once a month, nine-year-old Noah takes a stack of books to one of the little free library bins around Copperas Cove and places them inside after disinfecting the bin handle and the books.
He leaves the books for other kids to read because he believes reading is important for more than just learning.
“They can have a fun time. They can be entertained. They can brighten up if their like depressed or something. So, they can lighten up.” said Noah.
Noah also is the reigning champion of the little mister five hills pageant and donates the books to help the children in his community.
So far, he says he has donated over 200 books and doesn’t intend to stop.
