COLLEGE STATION, TX — This Valentine's Day, one College Station couple tied the not, but did it in a place you wouldn't expect- Whataburger.
Taylor Hatcher and Geoffrey Martin tied the knot at Whataburger in front of their friends, families, and fellow patrons after winning the Whataburger What-A-Wedding contest.
The company receives thousands of submissions each year.
"I would say that while we were up there, I was thinking this is super Texan, like Matthew McConaughey at a Willie Nelson concert holding an armadillow drinking a Lone Star eating a honey butter chicken biscuit. Yeah, like this is the epitome of Texas style, and I'm really happy that we did it," said Hatcher.
Whataburger threated the couple to an all-expenses paid meal with plenty of orange and white decorations and a Whataburger wedding cake.
